Stock & Option Account Funding

To fund your stock and option account by check

1. Please make check PAYABLE TO Terra Nova Financial, LLC
2. On your check, please include your ACCOUNT NUMBER followed by -2.
3. The check remitter must match the name on the account.
   Third party and temporary checks are not accepted.
4. Please send checks to:

Please note the following regarding check deposits:

• Only personal and business checks will be accepted for deposit
• No third party checks will be accepted
• Please note that funds received via ACH may be used for trading, but cannot be withdrawn for 10 days from the date the ACH was received
• No money orders or cashiers checks will be accepted
• No starter or temporary checks will be accepted
• Checks drawn on a foreign account will not be accepted
• Cash will not be accepted

All checks in the amount of $10,000 or greater must be verified with the bank where the funds will be drawn. If the bank will not verify funds, they will be held for 10 days in a cash account and will not be available for trading until the funds have cleared. Upon verification, funds may be used for trading, but cannot be withdrawn for 10 days from the date the check is deposited.

Fund Stock and Options Trading by Wire

To wire funds to your stock and option account

• Third party wires will not be accepted.
• The originator of the wire must match the Account Name.

To transfer an account to Terra Nova

Transfer your account to Terra Nova by submitting an Account Transfer Form and a copy of your most recent account statement to your Terra Nova Financial, LLC representative.

To fund your stock and option account via ACH:

1. You must have a completed Electronic Funds Transfer Agreement on file with Terra Nova Financial, LLC.
2. Use our ACH deposit form found through the Terra Nova Client Center or send an e-mail to Terra Nova indicating your account number and the amount of the deposit.

Please note the following regarding ACH deposits:

1. ACH deposits must be drawn from an account with the same account holder name as the Terra Nova account.
2. ACH deposits can take up to 48 hours to complete.

Transferring Your Account from another Brokerage Firm?

It’s very easy to transfer your account to Terra Nova from another brokerage firm, bank or mutual fund. Simply send a completed account transfer form and a recent statement of the account to be transferred to Terra Nova to the address below:
